Changes in the Importance of Certain Popular Science Misconceptions

Reports on a study in which 116 science educators were asked to rank 100 misconceptions concerning science according to the degree of acceptance the general public had for the misconception. Compares the findings with Hancock's 1940 study which used the same misconceptions and a similar procedure. (CP)
