The Effect of a Calculator-Based Curriculum on Sixth Grade Students, Achievement in Mathematics.

The sample was a randomly selected sixth-grade class in a medium-sized southern city, and consisted of 33 students. The study was designed to answer four questions pertaining to the effect of calculators. Results indicated a calculator-based curriculum has a positive effect on student problem solving. (MP)
