Clusters of behaviors associated with teachers judged to be successful were explored. It is hoped the information will be useful in providing clues to identify preservice students who are apt to make successful teachers. No conclusive, broadly based, significant characteristic differences between successful and unsuccessful teachers were found. (MP)
