Presented here is a summary of proceedings of a May, 1972, environmental debate held in Stockholm. The problems of development, of family planning, of the relationship between the rich and the poor countries and the problems of the environment, considered together, concern the whole of the world population in what is usually called the environmental crisis but which is, in reality, a series of converging crises which stress the interdependency of all the peoples of the world.
