Darwazeh, Afnan N.
Quarterly Review of Distance Education, v1 n2 p159-64 Sum 2000
Investigates the learner variables that relate to academic achievement in a distance versus a conventional education setting. Participants were 500 undergraduate students from two Palestinian universities. Results revealed: prior high school academic achievement and specialization were correlated significantly with university academic achievement; and university specialization was correlated significantly with university academic achievement, in favor of science specialization.
