This paper responds to a rejoinder written about the article, "There Is No 'I' in Team," published in the "Review" in 2001. It agrees with the rejoinder's author that it is important to consider the historical and social contexts of athletics when looking at it as a model for diversity. Nonetheless, it continues to maintain that those in athletics can teach something about working with individuals from different backgrounds. (Author/EV)
