Relationship of Parental Involvement in Teens' Career Development to Teens' Attitudes, Perceptions, and Behavior.

This study investigated relationships between parents' involvement in teens' career development and students' attitudes toward education, perceptions of the future, and school and leisure behavior. Data from a representative sample of high school seniors indicated parental involvement was positively related to positive attitudes, perceptions, and behaviors and negatively related to problem behaviors.
