Cobb, Steven L.; Foeller, William H.
Theory and Research in Social Education, v20 n4 p421-39 Fall 1992
Presents study results focusing on the determinants of teacher work attitudes using organizational behavior theory. Explores job satisfaction as influenced by individual attributes and job characteristics. Concludes that additional economics training and expectations of motivated students favorably impact teacher satisfaction. Suggests that both being female and changing subjects reduce the likelihood of teacher enthusiasm. (DK)
