Beyond the Conventional Wisdom: A Second Reply to Sher & Sher (1994).
Searston, Ivan
Journal of Research in Rural Education, v11 n1 p55-61 Spr 1995
Suggests that the rural development policy for Australia proposed by Jonathan and Katrina Sher in a previous issue of this journal fails to differentiate between "rural" and "regional," resulting in policies aimed at regional areas and the marginalization of rural communities. Offers a distinction between rural, urban, and regional areas to assist policymakers in policy development. (LP)
