Success Attributes in Teaching Music as Perceived by Elementary Education Majors.

Reports on a study of 306 elementary majors at 7 universities that examined attributes associated with success and failure in teaching music. Finds that meeting individual needs of students, having positive attitudes toward children, and acquiring personal music skills through sustained effort were the most frequently selected attributes.
