Male-Female Enrollment Across Mathematics Tracks in Predominantly Black High Schools.
Marrett, Cora Bagley; Gates, Harold
Journal for Research in Mathematics Education, v14 n2 p113-18 Mar 1983
A comparison of male and female enrollment in mathematics courses for six predominantly Black senior high schools was made. Patterns were not found uniform across schools and females were about as likely as males to elect courses. It is suggested that future studies should focus on conditions within schools. (Author/MP)
