The Relationship of Behavioral Self-Assessment of the Achievement of Basic Conducting Skills.
Yarbrough, Cornelia
Journal of Research in Music Education, v35 n3 p183-89 Fall 1987
This study explored the relationship between two types of behavioral self-assessment and posttest conducting achievement scores. Contends that students can efficiently change their conducting or rehearsal behavior by studying operational definitions, participating in practical conducting experiences, observing themselves in a videotape, taking data through systematic observation, and writing self-evaluative techniques.
