Monitoring and Improving Instructional Practices (And are Student Evaluations Valid?).
Griffin, Bryan W.; Pool, Harbison
Journal of Research and Development in Education, v32 n1 p1-8 Fall 1998
Examined whether the use of multiple in-class college student evaluations of instruction throughout the term, coupled with instructor consultations with students, would lead to improved instruction as measured by direct observation and end-of-term student ratings. Results indicated that this created an enhanced learning environment and an important means for responding to student needs and bettering instructional performance. (Author/SM)
