Attitudes Concerning Extended Teacher Education Programs: A Rural/Urban Comparison.

Examines attitudes of rural and urban teacher educators and graduate students toward extended teacher education programs. Reports less than 33 percent favor extending the programs. A majority favor increasing professional coursework and field experiences. Results support existing 4-year programs, though urban teachers favor more change than rural teachers. (Author/DHP)
