The Effects of Background, Coursework, and Involvement on Students' Grades and Satisfaction.
Pike, Gary R.
Research in Higher Education, v32 n1 p15-30 Feb 1991

Results suggest satisfaction is a stronger influence on grades than vice versa. It is recommended that popular recursive models be reevaluated because nonrecursive models may more accurately represent effects. (Author/MSE)
