Describes the use of the Questionnaire on Teacher Interaction (QTI) in senior biology classes (n=489) and students' perceptions of their interpersonal relationships with their teachers in the classroom environment and its association with student outcomes. Reports that student attitude scores were higher in classrooms in which students perceived leadership, helpful/friendly, and understanding behaviors in their teachers. (17 references) (Author/JRH)
