Collective Bargaining Goals of University Faculty.

This study examined the collective bargaining goals of 1,800 faculty members at 8 Canadian universities, with focus on the relationship of goals to traditional academic governance. Findings indicated that faculty distinguish between academic and nonacademic issues and choose to restrict bargaining to issues involving money, job security, and grievance procedures. (Author/DB)
