The purpose of this study was to identify any relationships between faculty interest in counseling activities and nine selected student advising experiences. The findings indicate that the faculty interest in advising does not affect the way students are advised. (Editor/PG)

Concludes that there has been an increase of student ratings of faculty performance, as well as in the frequency with which results are used in decisions concerning faculty. This paper tests a multivariate theory of family status, socialization, and student politics employing two different methodological techniques: (1) the popular path analysis method as compared with (2) a modified causal analysis approach. Results reveal that both techniques appear to be a reliable check on one another. (Editor/PG)

A detailed evaluation of the Rider College interim study program based on faculty and student reports indicated that the more nontraditionally oriented courses were rated higher than the more traditional offerings.
