Siegel, Laurence – Research in Higher Education, 1978
An evaluation performance program specifically oriented toward such administrative actions as tenure, promotion, and salary adjustment is described. It uses task analysis to clarify the nature of the desired evaluative content and peer review as the primary evaluative mechanism. Its use in a psychology department is discussed. (Author/LBH)

The Programmed Achievement Study System (PASS), based on positively reinforcing attempts at mastery, was introduced and empirically tested to determine its validity. The independent and interactive effects of Anonymity (A) and Retaliatory Potential (RP) on students' ratings were examined at a large midwestern university.
