Relationships among Faculty, Peer, and Self-Evaluations of Applied Performances.
Bergee, Martin J.
Journal of Research in Music Education, v45 n4 p601-12 Win 1997
Explores the consistency and accuracy of faculty evaluation, peer evaluation and self-evaluation of applied end-of-semester performances. Finds that faculty inter-judge reliability was uneven, while student peer inter-judge reliability was more uniform; faculty-peer evaluations were highly correlated, but self-evaluations were poorly correlated with both. Relates these findings to previous research. (DSK)
