Technology Standards in a Third-Grade Classroom: Do Student Skills Match Technology Standards?
Kovalik, Cindy; Smoler, Lynn; Toddy, Jazmine
Journal of Research on Technology in Education, v33 n5 Summer 2001
Examines the ability of third grade students to meet technology standards. Results from this classroom-based investigation strongly suggest that students in this classroom are making good progress toward meeting technology competencies for Grades three through five as specified in the ISTE (2000) NETS for Students. Moreover, students have met the subset of skills addressed by two technology-enhanced classroom projects aligned with school district technology competencies. (Author/AEF)
