Postcollege Earnings of Former Students of California Community Colleges: Methods, Analysis, and Implications.

A study based on information from 700,564 California community college students found that students' earnings gains from first year out of college to third year out varied by age group. Among economically disadvantaged students, a strong positive correlation existed between educational attainment and post-college gains. As women complete more education, the earnings gap between men and women closes. (Author/MSE)
