Higher Education in California: New Goals for the Master Plan. Technical Appendices
Johnson, Hans
Public Policy Institute of California
To determine new eligibility goals for California, the author and his colleagues developed a student flow model that projects student enrollment and degrees awarded for each year from 2005 to 2025. To develop the model, they first developed population projections for the state. They also used a plethora of data sources to identify current trends and patterns with respect to higher education in California and to develop comparisons with other states. This paper presents the appendices included in the "Higher Education in California: New Goals for the Master Plan" report. (Contains 3 tables and 8 footnotes.) [This paper was written with the support of Qian Li. For the main report, "Higher Education in California: New Goals for the Master Plan", see ED515618.]
