The effects of group dependent and group interdependent reinforcement contingencies on the level of socially appropriate behaviors emitted by emotionally handicapped elementary school students were examined. Findings suggested that both group dependent and group interdependent reinforcement contingencies were effective in increasing the level of socially appropriate behaviors. (Author)
