Resilience Factors that Support the Classroom Functioning of Acting Out and Aggressive Students.
Morrison, Gale M.; Robertson, Laurel; Harding, Meri
Psychology in the Schools, v35 n3 p217-27 Jul 1998
Fifth- and sixth-grade aggressive and acting-out students from a Latino community were organized into two groups based on their classroom academic performance. Students who were rated as aggressive but were high on school learning reported more resiliency indicators than those low on school learning. Parental supervision was the key variable between the groups and girls reported greater classroom readiness. (MKA)
