Exploratory Factor Analysis of Parent Ratings of Child and Adolescent Anxiety: A Preliminary Investigation.

Explores the factor structure of the Child and Adolescent Anxiety Survey, a parent rating scale designed for use in the assessment of child and adolescent anxiety. Surveys (N=176) from parents of children in kindergarten through grade 11 were utilized. Factor analysis suggests that one second-order factor yields an internal consistency estimate of .93, which accounted for 70% of the covariance. (Author/MKA)
