Normative Achievement Assessment of Gifted Children: Comparing the K-ABC, WRAT, and CAT.
Karnes, Frances A.; And Others
Psychology in the Schools, v23 n4 p346-52 Oct 1986
Kaufman Assessment Battery for Children (K-ABC) processing and achievement subtests were administered to 41 gifted students in grades four through six. Scores were compared to concurrent achievement measures from the California Achievement Test and other mental ability measures. Patterns of intercorrelations suggest that the K-ABC achievement scores are more verbally loaded than are some other achievement measures. (Author/ABB)
