Achievement Motivation and Self-Reported Grade Point Average
Johnson, Patrick B.
Psychology in the Schools, 12, 4, 402-404, Oct 75
This experiment examined the impact of achievement motivation on the accuracy of self-reported grades. The author predicted that subjects high in achievement motivation would also be more likely to overestimate the degree of their success than low need achievers. Results supported the hypotheses.
