An Electronic Spirograph

Describes a circuit which can produce patterns consisting of epicycle curves. The appearance and mathematical nature of some of the patterns is explained. Details are given for the conversion of an oscilloscope to display the patterns demonstrating the practicality of such experiments in most introductory physics laboratories. (JP)
