A Necessary Partnership: The Early Childhood Educator and the School Librarian.
Thomas, James L.; Goldsmith, A. Elaine
Phi Delta Kappan, v73 n7 p533-36 Mar 1992
Establishing a partnership between the early childhood educator and the school librarian could ensure that materials appropriate for every child's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive abilities were provided. By cooperating, these two professionals could easily identify learning activities and materials that could be matched to individual children's needs. A sidebar outlines preschooler library resources.
