The Challenges of Sustaining a Constructivist Classroom Culture.
Windschitl, Mark
Phi Delta Kappan, v80 n10 p751-55 Jun 1999
Constructivist learning, based on students' application of knowledge to solve authentic problems, is a culture, not a fragmented collection of practices. Major changes in curriculum, scheduling, and assessment are needed. (13 references) (MLH)
