This 2004 edition of "Part C Updates" is a compilation of information on various aspects of the Early Intervention Program for Infants and Toddlers with Disabilities (Part C) of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). The intent of the compilation is to collect, in a convenient format, a variety of resources that meet the information needs of state and jurisdictional Part C program staff, the Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) of the U.S. Department of Education, and policymakers at all levels. It contains information about Part C program administration, Part C program implementation, and Part C data. Lists presenting contact information for OSEP Part C project officers, state and jurisdictional Part C lead agencies, Part C coordinators, and chairs of state interagency coordinating councils are included. Appendices include: (1) Part C of Public Law 105-17, the IDEA Amendments of 1997; and (2) Federal Regulations for Part C of IDEA. (For the seventh in this series of updates, see ED490509.)
