Effective Measures for School-To-Work Transition in the Vocational Education System: Lessons From Australia and Korea. Support Document
National Centre for Vocational Education Research (NCVER)
This document examines the connections between vocational education and training (VET) systems and industry. It was found that any system of entry-level training, which aims to help students make a successful transition from school to work, must have support mechanisms and frameworks in place to enable accurate assessment of industry and labour market needs. The table of contents for this support document contain: (1) Findings: Group Training Companies; (2) Findings: Lecturers in Institution-Based Training Programs; (3) Findings: VET Teachers and Coordinators in Secondary Schools; and (4) Surveys and Questionnaires. (Contains 60 tables and 1 figure.) [Full Report available at ED493963.]
