The Shopping Mall High School. Winners and Losers in the Educational Marketplace.
Powell, Arthur G.; And Others
NASSP Bulletin, v69 n483 p40-51 Oct 1985

To counteract this effect schools need to take risks through greater commitment to individual student development and to higher expectations in the classroom.(MD)
