The Correlation Coefficient and Influential Data Points.

Data were analyzed to see if a correlation or relationship existed between students' grades in a course and students' rankings of the professor's teaching. Graphing calculators allowed students to visualize relationships between the data and to compute the equation of the regression line, compute the correlation coefficient, and test statistical significance quickly and accurately.
