Predicting Job Performance by Use of Ability Tests and Studying Job Satisfaction as a Moderating Variable

This empirically based study of 324 technicians investigated the moderating impact of job satisfaction in the prediction of job performance criteria from ability test scores. The findings suggest that the type of job satisfaction facet and the performance criterion used are important considerations when examining satisfaction as a moderator. (Author)
