Career Salience, Work Values, and Vocational Indecision
Greenhaus, Jeffrey H.; Simon, William E.
Journal of Vocational Behavior, 10, 1, 104-110, Feb 77
Students (N=153) were studied and it was found that low career salience was associated with a relatively high incidence of vocational indecision. Results suggest there may be two sources of vocational indecision: high career-salience students who value intrinsic rewards and low career-salience students who do not value intrinsic rewards.
