On Measuring Work Ethic: A Neglected Work Commitment Facet.

A work ethic instrument was tested with 122 Catholic priests and nuns, 147 Catholic parishioners, and 293 university students employed part time. Factor analysis revealed four dimensions: hard work, nonleisure, independence, and asceticism. (SK)
