Which Dominates? The Relative Importance of Work-Family Organizational Support and General Organizational Context on Employee Outcomes.
Behson, Scott J.
Journal of Vocational Behavior, v61 n1 p53-72 Aug 2002
Dominance analysis investigated the effects of organizational context and work-family organizational support on several outcomes for 147 employees. Work-family support contributes to job satisfaction and organizational commitment most strongly through its impact on work-family conflict. However, variance in employee affect is better explained by broader organizational phenomena. (Contains 43 references.) (SK)
