A Causal Model of College Women's Career Choice.
Fassinger, Ruth E.
Journal of Vocational Behavior, v27 n1 p123-53 Aug 1985
A model of women's career choice was tested using the structural equation modeling methodology. The final model tested suggests high-ability feminist women, who are achievement oriented, appear to be strongly career oriented and quite strongly family oriented. This career-family orientation appears to lead to career choices that are high in prestige and nontraditional. (Author/BL)
