The Distortion of Memory for Careers: The Influence of the Thematic Organization of Occupational Information.

Examined occupational information-giving aspects of career counseling with 120 students who listened to occupational information and identified descriptors of the occupations immediately or one week later. Results supported the conception of a thematically organized knowledge structure for occupations. Students exhibited more thematic intrusions over a week's time. (JAC)
