Employment Status of Severely Visually Impaired Men and Women.

Comparison of occupational classifications of visually handicapped women in Illinois with those of both visually impaired men and women revealed that larger percentages were placed in clerical and service occupations and a smaller percentage were placed in professional occupations than for the total cases (both men and women). Salaries and incomes were below the national average. (CL)
