Why They Want to Teach: Factors Influencing Students to Become Technology Education Teachers.

Because of declining enrollments, a survey of technology education majors (n=537) was undertaken to determine factors that influenced them to select technology teacher education as a major. Results suggest the importance of meeting personally with prospective students and working with secondary technology education teachers to have the maximum impact. (JOW)
