A survey of 1,381 employers (518 respondents) was conducted to assess the ways that Hartford Area Vocational Center could work with employers to increase the occupational skill readiness of their workers. Three-fourths of the respondents believed their employees would benefit from skill development courses in addition to those offered by the employer. (JOW)
