Assessing the Technology Training Needs of Elementary School Teachers.
McCannon, Melinda; Crews, Tena B.
Journal of Technology and Teacher Education, v8 n2 p111-21 2000
Assesses technology and its use in Georgia public elementary schools, as well as teachers' technology training needs. Findings indicate: computers are prevalent in the schools, teachers use them largely for administrative tasks, instead of as an integral part of instruction, and staff development courses reinforce this use because the majority of classes offered are word processing.
