Selective Admissions Criteria in Graduate Teacher Education Programs.

Criteria for admission to graduate programs in teacher education were surveyed to determine, in part, the extent to which adjustments are being made for minority and non-English-speaking students. Admission requirements at 178 schools, colleges, and departments of education are reported. Few respondents cited use of nontraditional screening procedures. (PP)
