Early Identification and Recruitment of Hispanic Teacher Candidates.

Changing demographics necessitate that more minorities be recruited for teacher prepration programs. A pilot project to identify talented Hispanic high school students and to recruit them for teacher education programs is described. The program's future goals are discussed. (JL)
