Common Thread Case Project: Developing Associations of Experienced and Novice Educators through Technology.
Bliss, Traci; Mazur, Joan
Journal of Teacher Education, v47 n3 p185-90 May-Jun 1996
Describes an exploratory study that examined the potential of combining teaching cases with telecommunications to stimulate learning communities of new and experienced teachers. Experienced and beginning history teachers had informal subject matter conversations using CD-ROM cases and videoconferencing. There were high levels of engagement between the groups, and all were eager to continue such contacts. (SM)
