Summerhill, Arlene; Matranga, Myrna; Peltier, Gary; Hill, George.
Journal of Teacher Education, v49 n3 p228-34 May-Jun 1998
Examined how high school seniors perceived careers in education, particularly minority group students. Surveys of students from diverse ethnic background in Washoe County, Nevada, indicated that about 36% were at least somewhat interested in teaching careers. There were differences in the perceptions of minority and majority group students and differences in perceptions according to gender. (SM)
