Describes a training program, funded through the Comenius 3.1 action of Socrates I, for teachers about to take on the role of school European coordinator or seeking to increase their expertise in this area. This paper describes the project rationale, development of a training manual, the training curriculum, and course participants. Despite ending the project, the training courses have continued to be supported by the European Union under Comenius 3.2. (SM)
